Family Violence Services 

The Aboriginal Family Violence Prevention and Legal Service Victoria provides assistance to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander victims/survivors of family violence and sexual assault, giving telephone and/or face to face legal advice to victims/survivors of family violence and sexual assault.

Safe Steps - Family Violence Response Centre- 24 hour/7 days a week telephone service providing support, information and referral to safe accommodation for women experiencing domestic violence. Phone 9322 3555 or toll free 1800 015 188.

Homelessness Services & Support

Transitional Housing Managers - Information to transitional housing, that maybe able to provide assistance with infromation and referals, crisis accommodation and transtional accommodation

The Homelessness Advocacy Service (HAS) can assist with advocacy and complaints with housing services

Victorian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Organisations

Aboriginal Housing Victoria - provides long term accommodation to eligable applicants across the state of Victoria

Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency -   The Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) is the lead Aboriginal child and family welfare organisation in Victoria, protecting and promoting the rights of Aboriginal children and young people

3KnD - 3KND is Melbourne’s first Indigenous owned and managed radio station, providing a vital service not only to the Indigenous community but also to the wider community as a whole. 3KND provides information and entertainment for our community and anyone else who wants to join in.
