EMH is a state-wide service that provides crisis accommodation to Aboriginal women and their children who are experiencing family violence. The refuge can accommodate four families at any time and is a high security refuge with a non disclosed location. Acceptance into the refuge depends on availability.
Our refuge is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week and 52 weeks of the year.
While women are accommodated in our refuge they receive support from a consistent Case Manager with one of the goals being to exit the family in to safe, secure and appropriate accomodation.
