Refuge

The Elizabeth Morgan House Refuge provides safe and secure crisis accommodation and case management support for Aboriginal women and children who have experienced family violence. Our support also extends to parents of Aboriginal children, as well as partners and ex-partners of Aboriginal people. Our Children's Support Worker can also provide individual services & support for children.

With staff on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week we are able to offer intensive support to residents.

We support clients with safety planning, holistic case management, emotional support, advocacy & information, housing applications, Centrelink processes & referrals to other services. We also provide support with Intervention Orders, & Child Protection matters.

 

Referrals to our Refuge can be made by contacting Safe Steps Family Violence Response Centre on 1800 015 188. Please note that demand for this service is extremely high.
